Resource requests and subscriptions

When you request an email-gated resource or subscribe, we collect your email address, your selected email preferences, and the time of your request and confirmation. We use Resend to deliver requested emails and manage confirmed subscriptions. Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the information needed to provide these services.

Requesting a resource does not require subscribing. The weekly AI-and-education newsletter, RAFT resource revisions and releases, and workshop or promotional announcements are separate, optional choices. We activate your selected subscriptions only after you confirm your email.

Resource activity

We count resource-page views, print-button clicks, file-download responses, and requested and confirmed resource emails. These are activity totals, not a count of unique people or proof that a file was saved or printed. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies for these counts.

Practice responses and process logs

Your practice answers and process-log entries stay in the current browser tab. They are not sent to our server or saved automatically. Word, PDF printing, and draft downloads are created in your browser. Download a draft before leaving if you want to reopen your log later; draft files contain your entries as plain text.

Security and retention

We use temporary confirmation and download links. For abuse prevention, we briefly retain hashed request identifiers rather than raw IP addresses in our application database. Unconfirmed requests and completed download records are removed after their expiry plus seven days. Requests with an unresolved subscription error remain until reviewed. Confirmed subscription choices are retained as a consent record while needed to manage your preferences. Our hosting and email providers may retain operational information under their own policies.

Your choices

Use the unsubscribe or preference link in an ongoing email to stop those emails. You can still request a resource separately. To ask about your information, request deletion, or change your preferences, contact chase@raftframework.org.
